अपेक्खा कोरे आछि शुधु प्रेमेर काछे
धोरा देबो बोले।
ताइ एतो डेरि होच्छे, एतो दोष होच्छे—
काजेर माझखाने कतोइ फाँकि पोड़े जाच्छे।
तारा आसे आइन निये, धारा निये,
बेंधे राखबे बोले।
आमि तदेर काछ थेके सरे सरे थकि—
शुधु प्रेमेर काछे धरा देबो बोले।
लोके आमाय बोके, निन्दे कोरे—
से तदेर उचिति काज।
हाटेर काज शेरा होलो, बेला शेष होय—
यारा डाक्ते एसेछिलो तारा रागे फिरे गेलो।
